Elementary (K-6)
Elementary Science Update
LUSD is considering a purchase of TWIG Science for Elementary schools, TK-5th grade. The estimated cost of the materials which includes an eight (8)-year bundle print, digital subscription, leveled readers, trade books and science kits. The eight (8)-year program includes replacement of consumables and kit replenishment. In addition to the eight (8)-year adoption for TK5th grade, 6th grade will receive one year of TWIG Science print, digital, trade books, and science kits while exploring the TWIG discipline specific program during the 2021-2022 school year.

The School Board, Lompoc community, parents, teachers, staff and students are invited to take a clickable tour to learn more about TWIG Science - see links below. Hard copy materials are also available to view in person at the Textbook Center between March 9th - April 2nd.

Middle School / Jr High (7-8)
LUSD is considering a purchase of Amplify Science one (1)-year Digital Licenses and one (1)-year Student Print for the period August 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022. This will include digital licenses, student notebooks, and science kits. The District will purchase Amplify Science licenses for 7th-8th grades while exploring other discipline specific programs during the 2021-2022 school year with a plan of a formal adoption in 2022-2023. High School (9 - 12)
Lompoc and Cabrillo Textbook adoption
LUSD is considering purchasing new Marine Science materials for Lompoc and Cabrillo High School as part of a 2022-23 textbook adoption. The School Board, Lompoc community, parents, teachers, staff, and students are invited to learn more about the new materials by clicking on links below. Additionally, there will be copies of the textbooks on display at the Lompoc Public Library from March 26th- April 23rd..
