Flyer Distribution

District Guidelines

In accordance with BP 1325, the District limits non-school flyer distribution to:

  • Joint-use partners as established in a memo of understanding (flyer content must be focused on the joint-use partner’s program for youth conducted for district students)
  • Contracted programs approved by the Board (flyer must be focused on contracted programs conducted primarily on district campuses for district students)
  • Parent-teacher organization promotion of school site-related events, activities, and programs (not the events of other agencies and organizations)
  • Governmental agencies, such as police and fire, that wish to distribute materials pertaining to student and community health and safety
  • Local non-profit organizations serving Lompoc youth

School Procedures 

If an external partner contacts you regarding distribution of non-school flyers, please refer them directly to communications@lusd.org.

Once approved, the communications team will contact you. 

Flyer Requirements

All flyers are required to contain: 

  • An English and Spanish version of the flyer. Each version should be sent as a separate PDF.  Please do not send combined PDFs. 
  • logo on every flyer. 
  • Desired delivery date on which you would like the flyer to be distributed. 
  • Specific schools or grade levels for delivery. 
  • Method of delivery: hand-delivery to each school or electronically. Hand-delivery to schools is the responsiblity of the requesting organization.
